Local business claims title at East Rand Women in Business

Edenvale resident and business owner Fontini Wilters was blown away when she won the well-being category of the East Rand Women in Business network.

Fontini said winning was a blessing because she won the category after the group nominated her.

“I intend to run with the blessing and grow from strength to strength,” said Fontini.

Fontini, a pilates instructor, has run her business for nine years and said she started it because she loves people.

“I realised that if I wanted to enjoy what I do, I had to make the change and have loved it,” said Fontini
She caters to the Edenvale, Boksburg and Benoni communities.

“Pilates transforms you to a stronger core. If your core is strong, your back is where it should be – stronger,” said Fontini.

She also distributes the LifeWave X39 stem-activating patches.

Fontini explained that the patch uses the body’s energy to activate materials within it, reflecting light onto the skin and stimulating its nerves.

This causes a change in the body’s biochemistry, such as activating stem cells and natural benefits.

“The benefits of regularly wearing the patch include wound healing, rapid resolution of pain and effective pain management,” said Fontini.

 Advising fellow entrepreneurs, Fontini said to put God first.

“Be yourself, put yourself out there. For me, nothing is better than your business being shared by word of mouth.”

She highlighted the need for consistency and to learn from mistakes instead of seeing them as failures.
