SAPS highlights community safety among shoppers

A joint operation between Gauteng SAPS and members of Bedfordview SAPS Social Crime Prevention Unit saw police officers engage with shoppers as part of the Safer Festive Season Awareness campaign.

Held in December at Eastgate Shopping Centre the campaign aimed to bolster police visibility and create a safe environment for all.

The campaign provided SAPS members the opportunity to engage with community members and encourage awareness among community members.

The SAPS appealed to the community to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activities to 10111 or 08600 10111.
