Ron Smith Care Centre pampers residents

“Our residents and staff truly embraced the Valentine’s spirit.”

Ron Smith Care Centre bustled with Valentine’s Day spirit as all six wings hosted their own heartwarming celebrations.

Each wing was decked out in charming red or pink hearts and flowers, while residents enjoyed a day filled with fun, laughter and love.

As the day went on excitement filled the air with residents participating in a ‘find your partner’ challenge or a lively game of charades, keeping everyone entertained.

During the celebrations, each resident received a delightful little box of Geldhof chocolates.

The festivities continued with a tea-time treat, fluffy cream scones with strawberry jam, declared ‘delicious and such a treat’.

“Our residents and staff truly embraced the Valentine’s spirit in their ‘home’, making the morning one of joy, love, warmth and laughter,” said Debbie Christen, the care centre’s recreational and training services facilitator.
