A psychiatric nurse, Loraine Schirlinger, will present the session.

Loraine holds a community nursing science and nursing administration degree.
She has completed numerous certificate courses in psychiatric, geriatric, community health services, and dementia care, and she has been with the Association for Dementia and Alzheimer’s South Africa for 15 years.
She retired in 2019.
She continues to advise and assist nursing homes and NPOs catering to people with dementia.
And educates community members and staff or residential care facilities.
