Community joins forces to upgrade Edenvale Clinic

Local volunteers, contractors, and business owners from Better Edenvale and Essentially Edenvale came together on Mandela Day to refurbish the Edenvale Municipal Clinic, making much-needed repairs and improvements to the vital facility.

Members of Better Edenvale and the community lent a helping hand at the Edenvale Municipal Clinic on Mandela Day.

The team of contractors, business owners and volunteers got together on July 18 to make a difference in the community and improve the essential facility.

The project was initiated after Better Edenvale was approached by members of Essentially Edenvale and members of Ward 19’s ward committee.

Nicolette Lazarides and Yoana Hristova from RiskProp Realty with some of the donations for children in need.

Some of the improvements included the repair and replacement of a portion of ceiling, the repair of doors and door handles, fixing hand rails, fixing and repairing faulty lights and improving the clinic overall.

Tasks which were not completed on the day were set to be completed at a later stage.
