Eighty-five elderly residents gathered at the Edenvale Community Centre for a Christmas in July-themed lunch hosted by the Edenvale Senior Citizens Society, featuring a three-course meal, socialising, and a raffle with exciting prizes.

Edenvale Senior Citizens Society recently held a Christmas in July-themed lunch for guests and community members.

Held at the Edenvale Community Centre, 85 of Edenvale’s elderly residents came together to enjoy a three-course meal.

ESCS committee member Linda Ranwell said the group gathered to enjoy the food and have a pleasant afternoon catching up with old friends and perhaps making some new ones.

The raffle prize winner was Sheila Winton.

She added that the raffle was always popular, with lovely prizes on offer.
