Inyoni Creek residents marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a pink-themed birthday tea, celebrating life while raising awareness about early detection.
To commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Inyoni Creek’s October birthday tea was awash with pink, the colour of hope and solidarity in the fight against breast cancer.
“The event was a wonderful blend of celebration and awareness, with residents donning shades of pink to show their support for the cause,” said village social worker Michelle Matsolo.

She said the afternoon was filled with laughter, sweet treats and heartfelt conversations, reminding everyone of the importance of early detection and community support in the fight against breast cancer.
