“Our dancers put in a tremendous amount of effort throughout the year, and it’s wonderful to see that dedication celebrated in such a lively way.”

The programme included a dress rehearsal and two main shows, each showcasing a variety of dances performed with precision and flair.

Costumes were a highlight, with each dance featuring a distinct look. The music ranged from toe-tapping country tunes to sultry Latin rhythms and even included some South African flavour.

Adding to the entertainment, the Thornhill Troubadours delighted the audience with a few musical interludes, including their rendition of My Favourite Things and a specially arranged song set to Sarie Marais, honouring the line dancing group.

The concert concluded on a sweet note, with dancers offering snacks to the audience. This created a relaxed opportunity for residents and visitors to mingle, congratulate the performers, and celebrate the hard work that brought the show to life.
