Nine vehicles seized in Ekurhuleni crackdown

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department has seized nine vehicles during targeted operations against unroadworthy vehicles, illegal roadside repairs, and parking violations, reinforcing road safety across the city.

The EMPD has impounded nine vehicles during recent by-law enforcement operations conducted across the City of Ekurhuleni.

According to the EMPD, the vehicles were seized by the Towing Unit following targeted operations focusing on unroadworthy vehicles, parking violations and unlawful roadside mechanical activities.

The department said the operations form part of ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with municipal by-laws and to promote road safety across the city.
