Edenvale police appeal for help to identify deceased man

Edenvale police are appealing to members of the community and any possible family members to come forward and identify the deceased before he receives the pauper’s burial.

The deceased was found on one of the streets in Edenvale in January 2025.

Preliminary investigations suggest that his name is Strydom Rudolf Philips, aged 50.

He has since been taken to the Germiston mortuary.
