Mandela Month fundraiser supports Child Welfare SA – Edenvale and Bedfordview
The event was a combination of fitness, community spirit and charity, with all proceeds going towards work carried out by Edenvale Child Welfare.
Community members came together for this Mandela Month in support of Child Welfare SA -Edenvale and Bedfordview.
The community gathered at Peter Pan Park in Dunvegan by taking part in the annual 67 Minutes for Mandela.
The event’s theme, ‘Move4Children fundraising’, saw residents get active for child welfare.
Residents of all ages participated in the morning’s activities, embracing the spirit of Mandela Day by dedicating time to making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families.
The event combined fitness, community spirit, and charity, with all proceeds going towards work carried out by Edenvale Child Welfare.

Fitness instructors from Virgin Active Greenstone and Edenglen led participants through a series of energetic movement sessions, encouraging everyone to get active.
Guests also had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets and browse merchandise sold by The Choc Cows, Little Eden Society, and April Elizabeth Home.
The event highlighted the strength of community partnerships and demonstrated how businesses, non-profit organisations and residents can work together to create meaningful change.
Through their participation and generosity, attendees helped raise valuable funds that will assist Child Welfare in continuing its essential services to children and families in need.
