Family picnic celebrates British motoring heritage in Johannesburg

The British Chamber of Business in Southern Africa, in collaboration with the Vintage & Veteran Club (VVC), invites the public to its third annual British Vintage Cars & Motorcycles family picnic on September 27.

Now in its third year, this flagship Chamber event brings together motoring enthusiasts, families, friends, Chamber members and the wider community for a memorable Sunday celebrating British motoring heritage.

Come and enjoy an impressive display of British vintage cars and classic motorcycles, a relaxed picnic atmosphere, family entertainment and a day spent with friends and fellow motoring enthusiasts.

Most importantly, this year’s event will place a special focus on giving back through their Teddy Bear Drive in support of Rays of Hope.

Each guest who can should bring a new or gently used teddy bear or soft toy.

These will be donated to children supported by Rays of Hope through their early childhood development programmes in Alexandra township.


Bring picnic baskets, blankets and drinks (alcohol must be in a coolerbox).
Boerewors rolls will also be on sale.
