The R12m project was the vision of headmaster Dale Jackson and the opening was attended by former headmasters Kevin Tait and Anton Dempsey, Rob Katzen, the chairperson of the Jeppe Boys Association and donors.
The multi-media resource centre incorporates the old school library and gives learners a space for academic collaboration and social and individual study.
“The hub is the physical manifestation of the school’s determination to put the academic programme at the centre of everything,” said Jackson.
