STEEL-MECH ENGINEERING To join our team at Impala Platinum, Springs. Must be certified Red Seal Boilermaker with minimum 6 years experience in maintenance boilermaking & in a supervisory role. Computer literate, Word, Excel & email. Must be able to work long hours/ weekends (will be paid overtime accordingly) & attend to breakdowns so own transport is a MUST. Must be able to assess & solve problems under pressure. General knowledge of various trades advantageous (mechanical fitter, pipe fitter, welding). No criminal record & screening will take place before starting job. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Liaise with client foremans regarding work.
•Plan out work tasks with work teams.
•Compile method statements with work teams & assist with hazard identification for risk assessments.
•Inspection of employee work quality.
•Ensure work produced is according to spec & maintains company quality.
•Must be able to develop/mark out Y- piece, lateral pieces & the such.
•Must be hands on & be willing to help out if needed.
•Keep track of progress of all ongoing work & communicate with clients.
