Motorists witnesses hit and run
The person in the Getz was driving too close to the pavement and next thing I heard was this loud noise and then I saw the Getz somehow bumped or touched the gentleman on the bicycle and he lost control of his bicycle, but managed to stay out of the road.

“I was driving on Elm Street on my way to Linksfield on Wednesday morning, May 13.It was between 7:15am and 7:30am.
I noticed a Getz driving in front of me (about two or three car lengths away).
I saw a gentleman on a bicycle riding on our left hand side.
The traffic light was green so we could all just continue driving.
The person in the Getz was driving too close to the pavement and the next thing I heard was a loud noise. I saw the Getz had somehow bumped or touched the gentleman on the bicycle and he lost control of his bicycle, but managed to stay out of the road.
I saw his hand was hurt, but the driver of the Getz did not even bother to stop.
The Getz driver lightly applied the brakes and then just drove off.
I hooted and pointed towards the man on the bicycle; the driver of the vehicle just ignored me.
I drew closer and as the next traffic light was red, I took this picture of the lady sitting in her car. She was just ignoring everything and everyone.
When the gentleman passed, I stopped him to ask if he was fine.
His hand was hurt, his bicycle was a bit damaged and he was shaken up.
I feel this is a serious offence and that this driver needs to be reported.
The poor man was so upset and shocked at what had happened.”
