EDITOR – I was driving home from work on October 28 at approximately 4.40pm when I saw a young boy hanging out of his parents’ car.
I make it a point to never use my phone in my car but when I saw this I needed to take a picture.
The parent drove with the little boy like this for six kilometres, from Herman Street all the way up Fishers Hill.
Not once did this parent reprimand or do anything to stop the child.
The child could not have been older than five.
At some stages the boy was sitting on the door frame with only his legs in the car.
Even the fact that the parent is driving with the child’s window wide open is horrifying, do they not know what day and age we live in.
