EDITOR – I can only give huge praise to the staff at Home Affairs Edenvale for their assistance.
It was just a little spoilt at the end. A kind lady, who assisted me to the car, told my son about his lack of assistance.
When you are semi-disabled like I am, we like to do as much as possible for ourselves.
While you still are able, and getting in and out of a car can be painful, I can still accomplish it.
Should I need help, he would have jumped out and helped, I just needed to ask.
So he wasn’t ignoring me, he was waiting for me to help myself or call him. I know you were concerned and I really do appreciate it, but don’t make snap judgement’s please.
Both my sons are very aware of my needs and what I can and can’t do.
Thank you very much to all, it would be remiss of me not to offer my gratitude for all the kindness shown to me by everyone there on Saturday, August 29. Incidentally, both my experiences at Home Affairs Edenvale have been marvelous.
