I would like to give recognition to Joburg General Hospital’s Ward 394.
My mother was admitted to Joburg General Hospital last week Saturday and we had to wait for five hours, but in those five hours, my mother was attended to. Blood tests, X-rays and a CT scan were done and also a bedroom was organised for her.
Johannesburg General Hospital is known for its bad reputation, but I would like people to know that when we were there, they had a crew of about 15 cleaners, cleaning from the floors to the walls and even the lifts.
I would really like to give kudos to Ward 394 – Orange Block. The nurses were friendly and helpful to my mother and they didn’t have attitude, also the doctors were even more pleasant. There was a young female doctor with dark hair, but I didn’t catch her name, and she was extremely helpful.
I would like people to know that there are indeed some doctors and nurses who actually care about people, which in today’s times is very rare.
