EDITOR – From the original ring-necked parrots that came to the garden, some seem to be mutating in colour.
Their colours vary from from a rich green to a much lighter green, to now just about pure yellow.
Not sure if this is due to breeding within a small colony or restricted city diet, but it is getting freaky.
