Letter: Isando in dire need of water

"We have approximately 550 people on site every day, you can imagine the state of the toilets and general sanitation."

Editor – The water in Isando has been an issue since February 24.

Every day the businesses in Isando complain to the councillor about no water or low water pressure. As of March 9, we are now 14 days later and still without water.

The water engineer doesn’t answer his phone, doesn’t return calls and promises tankers which never materialise.

We have approximately 550 people on site every day. You can imagine the state of the toilets and general sanitation.

We have had no communication from council, the councillors, Rand Water or the water department.

Yours faithfully,

Judd Patmore.
