Imps put in the time on the diamond
To further grow the sport, the club invited those interested to join the club’s free baseball bootcamp.
Members of Edenvale Imps Junior Baseball Club were hard at work on September 18 when they were practising at Edenvale Sports Grounds.
The u-12 side practises every Tuesday and Friday between 17:00 and 18:15 and on Saturdays between 09:00 and 11:00.
During their practice sessions the juniors focus on batting and pitching.
To further grow the sport, the club invited those interested to join the club’s free baseball bootcamp. Set to be held throughout October, the bootcamp will be held at Edenvale Sport Grounds each Saturday from 09:00 to 11:00. Pitching, fielding and age-appropriate fitness will be taught.
Coaches will include provincial and national coaches.
All children will need to wear masks, hats and will need to bring a water bottle.
Snacks will be available at the clubhouse.
