Golfer claims victory for league by Balderstone Sports Institute

The Balderstone Sports Institute congratulated Jacques van der Merwe for winning the BSI Premier Division 18-hole medal.
He claimed victory on February 9 with a 4-under par 68 played at Royal Johannesburg’s West Course.

According to BSI’s head of marketing, Roger King van der Merwe, they have had a busy few weeks with external and BSI tournaments.
“We wish him all the best and that he keeps the momentum going in the GolfRSA International Amateur,” said King.
The other BSI golfers who achieved personal bests:
• Andre Goosen 72
• Liam Quinn 78
• Jayden Mackrell 80
• Estienne Terblanche 83 and
• Shaun Mofokeng 83.
