Karatekas bring home 26 medals

The Michael Roetz Karate Institute Dojo members recently achieved impressive results at the Ekurhuleni Karate Trials, returning home with 26 medals.

The Ekurhuleni Karate Awards 2024 announced Michael Roetz as the best male junior and Kelsy Stevenson as the best female junior.

Leonardo Hambardzumyan won best U21 male and best senior male, and Marinda Roetz was the best senior female.

These two also took the title of best overall male and female, respectively.

Onkabetse Ramphekwa was also commended for representing the Erkurhuleni Karate Federation internationally.
The dojo congratulated all who participated.
