Local football club awards players
The Junior Goalkeeper of the Year award went to Mateo Dos Santos, while Gabriel Indiveri received the youngest Player of the Year award.
BCC Football Club recently held their award ceremony to celebrate and honour top achieving players for the season.
“The 2024 season was a remarkable journey for our football club. We are proud of all our team’s growth, determination, and sportsmanship.
“While we faced challenges, we achieved some notable victories and learned valuable lessons,” said club secretary, Luisa Dos Santos.

Dos Santos said as they look ahead to next year, they are excited to build on this momentum.
“Our goals for 2025 include enhancing our training programs to improve performance and consistency, expanding our community outreach and engagement initiatives as well as competing in the local and regional tournaments. We are committed to hard work, teamwork, and innovation.

“Your contribution has made a significant impact on our journey, and we’re grateful for your partnership, here’s to 2025!” stated Dos Santos.

Senior goalkeeper: Tinovonga Madzamba.
Junior coach: Stephen Dikole
15-year player award: Creswell Adams
Senior coach: Hugo Velosa
Junior manager: Kevin Thomas
Terry Ronnie award: Anthony Antoniadou
Senior supporters: Eddie and Dee.
Habib Legacy award: Alan Rees
Senior club merit award: Lungile Moyo
Junior supporter of the year: Luis da Silva
