Panthers open season with 73–5 blowout

Edenvale Panthers Rugby Club’s first team had a successful start to the season when they faced off against Katlehong.

Taking to the field on May 17, the Panthers won 73–5.

Club chairperson Ernie Enslin said it was a fantastic way to begin the season.

“What made it even more special was that it was our first match wearing our brand-new jerseys sponsored by Pact Freight.

“A huge thank you to them. The jerseys looked great, and we wore them with pride,” said Enslin.

He added that the club’s combined 12/13 team competed in rece a tournament at Warriors Rugby Club, where they beat Wasps Rugby Club Edenvale 22-21.
