South Africa celebrates narrow victory at 2025 BSI Founders Cup
Team South Africa clinched a dramatic win over Team Internationals in a competitive three-round golf tournament.
The Balderstone Sports Institute (BSI) congratulated Team South Africa on their hard-fought victory in the 2025 BSI Founders Cup.
BSI head of marketing Roger King, said Team South Africa edged out Team Internationals by a single point, 12.5 to 11.5, in a dramatic contest that went down to the final singles matches at the Royal Johannesburg East Golf Club.
The tournament, played over three intense rounds of foursomes, betterball, and singles, the Founders Cup once again delivered outstanding golf, camaraderie, and competitive spirit on November 3 and 4.

Both teams showcased exceptional skill and sportsmanship, with momentum swinging throughout the event before South Africa sealed the win in a nail-biting finish.
King said this victory marked a proud moment for the local squad by reclaiming the Founders Cup and reinforcing the strength and depth of South African talent within BSI.
