Round 7 win for Scott

National Formula Vee championship leader, Scott Temple, recently won round seven at Zwartkops Raceway.

The 17-year-old Reddam House pupil raced in the Extreme Festival event on August 9.
Scott took first place in the Formula Vee, after he started fifth on the grid.
The qualifying session was held in the rain on the morning of August 9 and Scott chose to qualify on slick tyres.
In race two, Scott lost his lead to Alan Holm after he had trouble with third gear and had to finish the race battling with gear selection.
Despite the setbacks, he managed an overall victory for the day.
Scott is currently leading the National Formula Vee championship with 31 points. He proceeds to the second last round, which will be held at Kyalami Race Track on September 14.
