FightStar 7, set to take place on May 31, promises to be action-packed and the best yet.
The event, which attracts fighters and residents from local suburbs, will take place at the St Johns Hellenic Hall in Primrose.
FighStar president, Pietro Cignolli said, “FightStar is growing from strength to strength. This event promises to be our most explosive event to date. Not only is it the biggest amateur mixed martial arts promotion in Africa, but it is also the most exciting.”
Cignoli is also the president of Fighting Fit Africa, a youth and community upliftment project based in Kensington.
Grant Oliff, the matchmaker for FightStar said; “FightStar 7 is going to be an explosive evening of mixed martial arts. There are massive fights on the bill with some of South Africa’s top amateurs.”
