Corinthians celebrate a great year
The team was also nominated as the team of the year by the Corinthians Black Aces Football Club.
The Corinthians Black Aces U/10 Premier League team enjoyed a season of unparalleled success throughout 2015, both as a team and as individuals.
Together with their coach Lucas Ioannides, the players went on to win the Eastern Local Football Association (ELFA) U/10 Premier League.
Further success followed as they were crowned the league’s U10 cup champions.
The team was also nominated as the team of the year by the Corinthians Black Aces Football Club.
With a staggering record of 22 wins from 23 matches played, the team scored 115 goals while conceding only 15 throughout the season.
The team finished the season with a goal difference of over 100 goals.
Eight members of this team were selected to represent the ELFA U/10 team, who then went on to win the Inter District Tournaments both in Germiston, and Durban.
Earlier this year, three members of this talented team represented South Africa at the Robin Van Persie International Youth Tournament, where they competed against talented youngsters from around the world.
