Liverpool u-11 team takes to the soccer field
JULES – Jules resident, Edward Maake formed a new soccer team, the u-11 Liverpool Football Club recently.

He started the team as he saw children playing around the streets.
“I do not want them to be involved in drugs or on the streets. Instead I asked them if they would like to play soccer and they agreed,” he said.
Maake said they walk from Jules to Rhodes Park on weekends to play friendly games with other teams.

The team does not have kit as they are newly established.
“I cannot afford to buy them kit. I would like to ask the community to help us buy kit and a soccer ball,” he said.
