Viva Vieve acrobats
Going overseas will give the dancers the chance to experience top competition.
Performers from Edenvale’s Vieve Acrobatic Dance Company recently participated in the second part of the Acro Festival.

They also took part in the American Dance Awards (ADA).
Following their success at the ADA, the local teams were selected to be a part of the SA Acrobatic team to take part in the Miami ADA in 2018.

Going overseas will give the dancers the chance to experience top competition, meet other dancers and attend classes with other dance teachers.
The Acro Festival was held at Cliffview Primary School between September 2 and October 6.
In the group category, the Snake and Gravity Groups received gold.
Toni Jacobus, Leonia Marinheiro, Hailey Andreka and Reece Livingston were awarded gold in the solo category.
Tyron Carey-Rodrigues and Hailey Andreka Duet received gold in the duet category.
Reece Livingston and Leonia Marinheiro were awarded silver and Hannah Andreka and Leonia Marinheiro were awarded bronze.
In the ADA duet category, Tyron Carey-Rodrigues and Hailey Andreka received the ultimate gold award.
Tanita Azevedo and Zanokuhle Tshabalala, Kirsten Moralee and Jamie Burger, Reece Livingston and Leonia Marinheiro received gold in the same category.
Tianna Machet, Emma Isherwood, Hannah Andreka and Leonia Marinheiro received high silver.
The Snake and the Step in Time Groups received ultimate gold while the Skeleton and Gravity Groups received gold.
The Scars Group received high silver.
In the solo section Toni Jacobus received ultimate gold.
Reece Livingston, Zanokuhle Tshabalala, Tyron Carey-Rodrigues, Hailey Andreka, Leonia Marinheiro and Toni Jacobus were awarded gold.
