Edenvale karate champs emerge victorious

Five martial art students from Michael Roetz Karate Institute participated in the All Style Bloemfontein League on May 4 and 5.

The Edenvale karatekas were five of 10 participants from across South Africa who competed at the event.

Together the Edenvale participants won five medals.

Marinda Roetz and Anthea Wade received gold medals for kumite.

Chaceita Grobler and Michael Roetz won bronze medals for kumite and Liesl Lohan won gold for kata.
