Hannah competes in South African Freestyle Dance Championships

She reached the grand finals in the same age group.

Hannah Coetzee, a Grade Six learner from Bedfordview Primary School, competed in the South African Freestyle Dance Championships on November 17 in Pretoria.

Hannah was awarded the title of SA Rising Star in Slowdance in the 10 to 11 years age group.

She reached the grand finals in the same age group.

Hannah trains at the Dance Illusions studio in Bedfordview under the watchful eye of coaches Craig Riviere and Chantal Riviere de Klerk.

Hannah started dancing competitively at the beginner’s level in January 2018, and with dedicated training and hard work has managed to achieve success.

“I am very proud of how far I have managed to come in such a short time. I am so happy that my hard work has paid off. I can’t wait to perform next year,” said Hannah.
