Bedfordview end cricket league on a high note

It was a good end to this year’s cricket league when Bedfordview Cricket Club’s u-13 cricket team faced off Avion Cricket Club in u-14 league match.
The match was held at Bedfordview’s home ground on December 8 and saw the home team win 235 for 2 against Avions 167 for 5.
Bedfordview’s coach, Andre Cremer, said the game was a good end to the league and saw the team finish in the top three.
“The game was played very well. Both sides showed good sportsmanship during the game,” said Cremer.
He said the players who form Bedfordview’s team came from several schools and towns in the Eastern Gauteng area.
Cremer said in addition to a good game, the pitch and field were also in good condition.
He thanked the groundskeepers and the Bedfordview Virgin Active for looking after the grounds.
