Rain running in Modderfontien

After heavy rains, park runners would have to take off their shoes when they got to the crossing.

Courageous park runners braved the rain on February 16 at the Modderfontein Reserve.

Due to the weather, approximately 331 ‘die-hard’ runners showed up for the rainy run.

Participants that have been running at the Modderfontein Reserve for a longer period shared memories of how Crab’s Crossing was always a problem after heavy rainfall.

Crab’s Crossing used to be on the old parkrun route but it no longer is.
