Six junior clubs affiliated to the Golden Lions Rugby Union took to the field when Wasps Rugby Club held its pre-season tournament.
The annual event saw players from u-7s to u-18s go head to head at Edenvale High School on June 29.

Johann Joubert, Wasps’ chairperson, said overall the tournament went well with no serious injuries.
“The aim of the tournament was to give players a pre-season warm up and time on the field. We did not keep scores.”
Joubert feels confident the Wasps will do well this season.
