Clean MTB sweep for Matteo

Reddam House Bedfordview learner Matteo Damilano recently participated in the 2019 Spur School Mountain Bike (MTB) League, winning six out of six races in the junior men’s category.

He also achieved four wins in the Gauteng South Series and two wins in the final.

For his win in the junior men’s category in the inter-school race, he received a cheque of R10 000 for his school.

He also received the award for best junior male rider, which doubles as the best male rider for 2019 at school level.

Matteo is the captain of Gauteng South’s Provincial team, which includes teammates Adrian Stark, Caitlin Capon, Tiana Xenia Do Rego and Cameron Capon.

Reddam House Bedfordview was the first Reddam House School to qualify for the finals.
