Edenvale dancers selected for American Dance Awards National Championships
Competing in the championship will give the studio’s dancers the chance to represent SA and perform alongside other international dancers.
Several dancers from Edenvale-based Vieve Acrobatic Dance Company were selected to attend the American Dance Awards (ADA) National Championships in the USA next year.
They were selected after competing in an ADA SA qualifying event held in Pretoria earlier this year.
Following their selection, the dancers showcased routines at a fund-raiser to support the team at Curro Edenvale.
They took to the stage on November 30, where they displayed their award-winning routines from the qualifying event.
Competing in the championship will give the studio’s dancers the chance to represent SA and perform alongside other international dancers.
The Curro showcase was the first of several fund-raising events Vieve has planned to support the team.
On December 6 the studio will host a School Break-up-Party to raise further funds.
It will be held at The View in Bedfordview and will feature artists such as DJ Chowmein, Neil Hunter and Styger.
Tickets will be available at the door at R100 per person, strictly no under 13s or over 17s are allowed.
