Tennis players take to Modderfontein courts

Modderfontein Tennis Club’s courts were all occupied by male club members participating in a Ladder Challenge on January 19.

The club leaders faced off against each other in a men’s double match showing the young players how the game is played.
The morning was a competitive one as players were shooting their shots in hopes to prove their readiness for the new year.
Member of the club Donovan Domingo said the purpose of the challenge was to get a stance and strength of the players.
“We are preparing for the Club Championships starting in February going into March.
“We also play to keep healthy and have fun.”
New members are always welcome at the Main Street club.
