Jeppe Quondam Squash Club recently held an awards evening for the club’s annual championships for 2020.
Organiser and Jeppe Quondam squash committee member Christine Lowe said the championship attracted a draw of 58 players, split into A and B sections.
“The club championships are held once a year at the beginning of the year to determine a ranking ladder for league teams who take part in Gauteng and Masters leagues,” said Lowe.
Jeppe Quondam entered a record five men and three women into the Gauteng league for 2020.
“All players, social and league players, including juniors are encouraged to join the club.
“We have fantastic facilities, including four glass back courts and a lovely restaurant and bar for socialising and relaxing after a good game of squash,” said Lowe.
