Gillooly’s parkrun gets community moving every Saturday

Residents of all ages are encouraged to run, jog or walk at the free weekly Gillooly's parkrun, a 5km community event held every Saturday morning that promotes fitness, wellbeing and social connection.

Held every Saturday morning, these free, timed 5km events help people of all ages improve their health while bringing communities together.

Recently, the pet-friendly event attracted hundreds of runners who took to Gillooly’s Farm for the weekly parkrun.

The run is held every Saturday at 08:00.

Whether participants choose to run, jog or walk the course, Parkruns encourage physical activity.

Besides acting as healthy outings, parkruns are welcoming social environments where community members and athletes of all levels come together.
