Rival schools go head-to-head

With the winter sport season nearing an end, it was time for the annual Derby Day between the two rival schools of Edenvale High and Edenglen High.

Preparation for the clash began some time ago, as the derby is seen as the highlight of the season.

The two schools competed against each other, not only on the netball and tennis courts, but also on the hockey and rugby fields.

Players gave their all and showed true tenacity and grit in all the games.

Edenvale High came out tops with a staggering overall win rate of 82 percent.

Although Edenglen won most of the rugby games, Edenvale was unbeaten on the hockey field, while the tennis and netball teams dominated by winning every game convincingly.
