KENSINGTON – Jeppe boys off to provincials.

 

Jeppe High School for Boys’ hockey teams had a good season.

The big achievement for the school’s hockey was that 37 Jeppe boys were selected for Gauteng provincial teams. The boys will be playing for their respective teams during the July school holidays. Caden Sanders, Hayden Bartlett, Jaydon Lincoln and Ross Breytenbach were selected for the U14 Gauteng team comprising players from southern, eastern and northern Gauteng. Eddie Ramohlale, Keegan Smith, Jesse Martin, Tlhalefang Pharasi and Callum Birkenfield were selected for the Southern Gauteng U18A team that will play in the inter-provincial tournament in Durban.

The Jeppe boys chosen to play for Gauteng are as follows:

U18B: Athenkosi Lisa, Jordan Ramos, Sibu Madlala, Justin Smith

U17A: Dillan Kirkland, Duncan Grose, Jordan Johnson

U16A: Nathan Grose, Rowan Wales, Connor Cottam, Ryan Mann, Akanyang Nkabinde

U16B: Chad Oosthuizen, Tevin Thomson

U16C: Callum Smith

U16D: Marco Gentle, Nahum Grottis, Tshifhiwa Ramashiya

U14A: Cael Murray, Jarred Alblas, Caleb Arries, Alex De Sousa

U14B: Keaton Stansfeld, Zack Pearson, Samuel Grottis

U14C: Joshua Hutcheon

U14D: James Kamerman, Kartik Gusain.
