Assumption rowers win overall points trophy at Roodeplaat

Assumption Convent School’s rowing club took part in the Annual Wemmer Sprints Regatta held from February 17 to 18 at Roodeplaat.

This event was a national regatta where schools, clubs, and universities compete against each other.

The junior girls raced well winning the u-14A scull, u-14A double and u-15A quad events.

The senior rowers won the women’s A scull, pair, quad and four events.

The combined effort of the rowing club resulted in Assumption winning the overall points trophy.
