The Jeppe SAPS is looking for five people in connection with an incident that took place in Troyeville on October 17.
According to Warrant Officer Richard Munyai, the Jeppe SAPS communications officer, a restaurant owner in Troyeville and his employees were at the business when two men entered.
“The men were drinking beer and started playing pool when the owner decided to go to his office. One of the men grabbed him and ordered him to lie down. The suspect then hit him. Three other men attacked the owner with pool cues and tied him up with a cable tie,” said W/O Munyai.
The man was taken to his office, where the suspects took cash, a ring and cellular phones before fleeing.
