First round of soccer challenge begins

The top eight soccer challenge play-offs started at the Rhodespark soccer grounds on Sunday, May 25.

Various soccer teams played against each other in a fight to make the final cut.

In the first division, New Castle Young Eleven Football Club played against Ayoba Football Club.

In the first round, eight teams played against each other in a series of on-going games. The eight teams will play a total of four games.

Those who make it through to the final round will compete against each other for a cash prize.

In Sunday’s match, the New Castle Young Eleven FC made it through to the next round of the challenge.
