Start the festive season on a side-splitting note with the return, after nearly a decade, of this New York comedy classic by Steve Solomon.

The new production opens with a preview on December 3.

It again stars the brilliant, multi award-winning and popular SA actor Michael Richard.

Created onstage in the Big Apple by writer/comedian Steve Solomon, this uproariously funny one-man play tells the story of an Italian-Jewish family and the characters that inhabit their world.

Conjuring up an array of wacky family relationships, the hapless hero is driven straight into the therapist’s chair, as he navigates through a tricky minefield of voices, dialects and sound effects.

My Mother’s Italian, My Father’s Jewish, and I’m in Therapy! won the Broadway.com audience award for Favorite New Off-Broadway Play, and has earned rave reviews worldwide.

You need not be Jewish nor Italian to appreciate this off-the-wall timeless comedy. You just need to know what it feels like to leave a family dinner with heartburn and a headache.

Described as “one-part lasagne, one-part kreplach and two parts prozac”, this delicious comedy promises to be just the tonic to relieve the stress of 2019 and to kickstart the holiday season.
