Fiat Tipo now offers more than what you could ever imagine
The new line-up revolves around two themes: “Life” and its 3 trim levels - Tipo, City Life, and Life available in four-door sedan and five-door hatchback guise.
The Tipo’s new look
The headlights have been completely redesigned and certain models now features day-time running lights and full-LED treatment.
The bumper in the lower section of the car, completely redesigned by adding elements in the brushed chrome ICE MATTE finish, is paired with new 16- or 17-inch alloy wheels with diamond finish and new designs.
Other than superb comfort, the interior now offers a fully configurable 3.5-inch TFT digital cluster with high-tech and advance systems with the UConnect 5 radio. There is also a seven-inch TFT cluster.
Safety
Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) is now standard across the Tipo range as is Fiat’s Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM) system. Other safety features include keyless entry on some models and a reverse camera and front parking sensors.
Engines
Fiat Tipo hatchback is available in CITY LIFE and LIFE models with either 1,4-litre petrol six-speed manual or 1,6-litre six-speed automatic drivetrains.
Developing 70kW and 127Nm the 1,4-litre petrol engine offers nippy performance and excellent fuel consumption of some 7.7litres/100km.
In the automatic models, Fiat’s 1,6-litre petrol engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and delivering 81kW and 152Nm.
