The festival aimed to raise funds that will be distributed to the charities supported by the church.

Member of the church Robbie Robbertze told the NEWS they wanted to create awareness in the community about the charity work they do.
“We do a lot of charity work that benefits various organisations. Our goal is to gain support by having our church members and residents attend more of our charity functions.”
The winners of the cooking competition were Phillip Snyman and Gary Shear who won R2 000 and a trophy.
In second place were Johan du Toit and David Viljoen who walked away with a cash prize of R1 000.
In third place, Bertie Brits bagged an R500 cash prize.
