Ekurhuleni Senior Women’s Stone and Becker win memorial cup

They won the competition by 42 points to claim the March honours of the club’s monthly competition.

The Ekurhuleni Senior Women’s Golf (ESWG) chairperson, Charmaine Stone, teamed up with Martie Becker to clinch the memorial trophy during the club’s monthly competition at Reading Golf Club in Alberton on March 6.

Stone and Becker walked away with the trophy and 45 points, beating the team of Renè Mathee and Lorraine Cross, who scored 45 points counted out.

Stone thanked the ladies for their continued support and said the turnout on the day impressed her.

“Our membership continues to grow. We signed up four new members at Reading. Thanks to all the ladies for their support. Well done to all the prize winners,” she said.
